Before lockdown at least you could talk to a receptionist and then depending on your complaint either get an appointment or a call from a doctor at the end of surgery. Now we have a situation where the reception will only take phone calls for a couple of hours in the morning and again in the afternoon. To now hear from a doctor we have to go on line and then wait for up to 72hrs. Are the doctors and receptionists still being paid their full wages. If this was a private firm working in this way they would have gone through a long time ago. Why do we now have to wait 5 days for prescriptions have the staff gone on a go slow. Other surgeries in the area have receptionists on the phone all day.

Get your people working their proper hours. The waiting room at Praze is big enough to have a desk at the end of the corridor to the pharmacy. There is then enough room to queue with social distancing and then open up all day. If this was done then patients could come in during the day instead of all having to queue at the same time.

Praze Surgery continues to be utterly abysmal in providing Praze an Beeble with any kind of Health Care We have absolutely no access to a Doctor in the village in that patients may only be seen at their other site at Connor Downs some 5 miles away and a lot of us have no car or access to such, A bus journey - extremely expensive if you are poor can take up to six hours - yes - SIX hours if your appointment falls between 3 services (every two hours. They have taken the opportunity that Covid 19 provides and reduced their so called service to just being able to pick up your drugs - for which they must 5 days notice - even if they have them in stock - you are then obliged to stand in a queue for up to half an hour in the open in all weathers only to be told thsy haben't got them or some missyake has been made - the dispensary is completely incompetant If you are moving to this area avoid this surgery .

You seem to be incapable of seeing you have a problem try having some humanity or common decency

This surgery has gone downhill faster than a runaway train - so many mistakes, so many rude or obstructive staff and some of the doctors are repellent in the extreme, I would never recommend them to anyone - we are solidly stuck with an appallingly bad GP practice and despite a huge number of complaints it seems we will never see an improvement .

Many have suggested improvements, such as disappearing without trace

I have never experienced such appalling and rude care as I have at this surgery. I transferred from Phoenix in Camborne when the surgery closed,having been totally satisfied with the care there and having a good relationship with the doctors.My health is generally good and didn't need to see a doctor for a year.When I did,firstly, very difficult to get an appointment,when I did, despite the smile I immediately sensed the total indifference and got fobbed off( basically go away and put up with it),if it gets any worse we can't do anything go to Treliske! I must say the nurses are excellent it's the doctor that was the problem!

Waste of time trying to call them in the morning. I have tried the reception and the secretary and gave up after 30 minutes. Best you call 111 or 999 straight away and don't waste your time trying them.
